"A Foggy Day"

You know that place where you go to escape the bustle of everyday life? That secret place, which may seem ordinary to others, where you can simply forget everything for a few hours and just relax? For me, it's here at the lake. Once a week my friends and I gather our fire poi gear and escape for an evening of frivolity by the water.

Medium: Acrylic and Oil on Canvas.

While working primarily from a drypoint I made last week, it was the more Romantic style of Turner and which I wished to convey.  However I soon abandoned my paintbrush in favour of an old rag that I found lying around the studio.
